| The individual therapy session
Our first session is a meeting to get to know each other. I will ask you about yourself and your reasons for seeking therapy, and you will be welcome to ask me any questions. If we feel we can work together and if the therapy fits with what you are looking for we can make a further appointment. A therapy session usually begins with a short discussion, and then I will ask you to bring your attention to your body and observe it closely. I will guide you in your therapeutic process using the method that is most appropriate for your situation at that moment, directed by the indicatons your body gives. These methods can be in the form of physical exercises, visualisation, breathing exercises, or massage techniques. The main technique I use is Energetic Integration (formerly called Alongside Energetic Integration I use elements from other therapy forms such as character analysis, Gestalt, psychodrama, NLP and various massage techniques. |
